The worst thing about being sick? Calling out when you're completely deaf. It goes something like this, "Hi, this is Cheryl Flood. I'm completely deaf, so I cannot hear you because my ears are so clogged up. I'm calling to say I have to call out today, I'm very sick and I'm completely deaf now. Thank you."
